We finished installing the solid oak flooring at a home in The Peninsula this past week. What a difference a finished wood floor makes. It takes a lot of hard work to work a floor this size and a lot of skill to keep lines straight and tight all the way across the room.
This is Bruce hardwood flooring in the color “gunstock.” There were lots and lots difficult sections in this installation. I had to run in a kitchen around an L shaped half wall, go down a hall way and end into four doorways. And then there was a post, a stair landing, a fireplace, and a foyer closet to fill in and trim around!
It really wasn’t too bad. We enjoy the finish work. We love making a home look beautiful!
