A survey was conducted by a kitchen and bath specialty retailer named Hausera. They found that eight out of ten homeowners renovated a kitchen or a bathroom or the laundry room within the past two years. That’s 80% of all homeowners surveyed! We do a lot of bathroom and kitchen remodels, as well as basements remodels and additions. The survey says that the average that homeowners spent on kitchen remodels was around $13,000. The average bathroom remodel cost around $11,000. That seemed a little high to me. We have remodeled entire bathrooms for as little as $5,000. That would include all new fixtures and a tile shower.  

Some projects are more expensive than others, of course. But you needn’t spend a fortune to get a brand new bathroom that is the envy of all your friends. The most common thing to happen in a bathroom remodel is to replace a fiberglass tub/shower with a tiled walk-in shower.  Take a look at one of our latest projects.

This Hausera survey also reported that 60% of homeowners are planning to do home renovations in the next two years.
